Three Generations of Service
Dyste Williams has been an important part of the independent insurance industry in  MInnesota from the early 1900's. The agency was established in 1934 by Lauritz N. Dyste, and subsequently headed by his son Jack. Family ownership continues today with Ted E. Dyste, the third generation, at the helm.

 Recognition
Dyste Williams
has been named Insurance Agency of the Year for 2007 by the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association (MIIAB). The honor recognizes Dyste Williams as a leader in the Minnesota insurance industry, with an outstanding reputation for service and integrity among both customers and insurers. Other factors that led to the selection of Dyste Williams include the agency's community involvement and commitment to continuing staff education. In receiving the award, Dyste Williams was chosen from over 800 independent insurance agencies in the state.
Heidi Michaels, an insurance advisor specializing in senior issues, has recently been appointed to the Minnesota Board on Aging by Governor Tim Pawlenty, for a 4-year term. As a member of the Board, Heidi will participate in administering federal and state funds for programs for the aging, and serve as an advocate for older persons. This honor recognizes Heidi's expertise in health care, long term care, and other senior issues, and engages her special skills to benefit the citizens of Minnesota.
Previously, Ted Dyste received the Agent of the Year Award from the MIIAB, and Roberta Gibbons and Dan Ribnick each received the Young Agent of the Year Award, recognizing their accomplishments and dedication. |
